Good Day Out Owl Experience
What to expect on your Owl Encounter?

Are you an owl lover or would you like to buy the best gift for an owl enthusiast?

Learn all about Owls in this lovely 2 hour owl experience which includes meeting 4 different species including Woodland Owls, Hawk Owls and Britain’s favourite, the Barn Owl. Spend time handling and flying them under the guidance of a conservation enthusiast, with frequent picture opportunities!

This small group owl experience is with expert handler Lewis Phillips who will tell you about the tree life of owls, how they hunt, their silent flight and their natural. Lewis has been working in conservation and has been flying birds for over 10 years and he aspires to teach people about real issues affecting birds of prey across the world. The welfare of his birds is his highest priority and he encourages methods of handling to allow the closest behaviour to that in the wild.

The experience location has a lovely old barn which we will use for flying in should it be windy or wet, with surrounding fields should the weather be fine, so there is minimal risk of cancellation unless conditions are extreme.

You can book for specific dates via the calendar on this site or pop over to our Gifts section for undated vouchers.
