It’s been a wonderful year and even the December mud is receding as 2019 ebbs away. The Good Day Out stable of experiences has enjoyed many walks and encounters and hopes that our gentle days out in the Brecon Beacons have engaged and entertained many of you.
We love working with all our lovely partners. It’s been full-on with the Piggies pottering and paddling their way through countless walks with local dance teacher Helena. She even found time to work on the amazing Brecon production of The Nutcracker this Christmas. Ross our Sheep Dog trainer has been selected to represent Wales in upcoming international Sheep Dog Trials, and Dinky Donkeys Maverick and Goose have new friends Bertie & Betty as well as moving to a new barn near Sennybridge.
Sadly, we said goodbye to working with Nicola, Paul & Liz after 6 years of Sheep Treks, and also Di at West Wales Hedgehog Rescue, but looking forward to creating some fresh new Good Day Out experiences for you in 2020.
Aside from our little meanders with the Dinky Donkey Walks, we are now holding mini donkey games sessions and will be adding different agility props to keep the dinks & donk interested – they love these interactions and this is great for all ages.
In progress are some great staycation packages so you can stay on a farm and either get stuck in with our Farmyard Bootcamp, helping care for the animals whilst getting some post-Christmas exercise, or relax with some quieter activities and walks in the beautiful Brecon Beacons. We can arrange accommodation as well as most other activities for you as well as our own, all with friendly qualified instructors, so just ask.
